The
Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on the 2nd and 3rd Saturdays at
11:00 A.M. in the morning. Parents must make an appointment to see
a Priest at the Rectory for an interview, present he child’s
birth certificate and attend instructions prior to the ceremony.
The instruction will take place on Saturday prior to the Baptism,
that is, the first and second Saturdays at 11:00 A.M. Both
god-parents must be practicing Catholics.
Marriages:
By
Diocesan directives, arrangements must be made at least six months
prior to any marriage
commitments by a Parish. For your convenience, please call for an
appointment with a Priest. When you come to see the Priest please
bring with you a copy of your baptismal and confirmation
certificates. If you do not have these certificates, bring the
name and addresses of the Church where these Sacraments took
place. Witnesses must be practicing Catholics.
Adult
Instructions (RCIA)
Any
adults who have not made 1st Communion or Confirmation or those
wishing to investigate the possibility of entering our faith are
asked to contact the Rectory. Special Classes are available for
adults at a time that is convenient with your work schedule. All
of us should attempt to encourage them to step forward and assist
them during the process.
Ministry
to the sick
Urgent
calls will be responded to at any time, unless the hospital has a
Catholic Chaplain. Parishioners who through sickness or old age
are unable to attend Mass may receive Communion at home. Kindly
call the Rectory to make arrangements for a Priest or Eucharistic
Minister to bring the Blessed Sacrament to your home and to make
arrangements for the Priest to administer the Sacrament of the
sick.
